The policy
- Material errors are corrected in place — in the brief or radar where they occurred — with a dated correction note on the page.
- Material corrections are logged on this page, so the correction history of the desk is itself a public record.
- Immaterial fixes (typography, formatting, link rot) are made silently and are not logged.
- Unverified claims are not corrected — they are not published. Rumors and tips remain private watch items until a public record verifies them.
- Anyone may request a correction. Use the Request a Briefing form with inquiry type "Correction," citing the page and the primary source that contradicts it. Requests supported by a public record are acted on; requests supported by preference are not.
- Private clients get no special path. A correction request from a client is weighed on the record exactly as one from any reader.

- 2026-07-20 — 2025 tax-roll figures updated to final certification. Our July 17 radar (Naples Development Capital & Capacity), article (Who Is Building Naples), downloadable brief, and DOR tax ledger (JSON) cited Florida DOR Data Book figures for the 2025 roll — City of Naples $41.29B (+7.5%); Collier County $164.53B (+8.2%) — as current, labeled pre-VAB, and the radar stated that Value Adjustment Board changes were "not yet final." The Collier Property Appraiser's 2025 DR-408 certification (March 31, 2026, post-VAB) shows the roll was already final-certified, at City $40.98B (+6.69%) and County $161.44B (+6.18%), final-over-final. All four surfaces are corrected to the certified values with the DOR vintage retained only as stage-labeled history; derived shares are recomputed (city share of county base ~25.1%→~25.4%; CRA increment share ~6.7%→~6.8%; modeled city levy ~$50.8M→~$50.4M). New-construction value ($4.30B just, the largest in the DOR series since 1997) is unchanged and confirmed final; CRA and CIP figures are unaffected. Analytic conclusions are unaffected. Separately, the machine-readable development ledger (JSON/CSV) had ranks #3/#4 transposed against their own pressure scores (Moorings Park 56 / The Viceroy 52); the ranks now match the scores as the radar page already showed. Originals are archived, not silently edited.
