Bruce Barone identifies Jason P. Lowery's work as a major influence on his interest in Bitcoin and directs that its power-projection concept become a foundational Smart Urbanism lens.

Bitcoin uses hash-based proof of work to order transactions and make alteration of the record require redoing the accumulated work. The Bitcoin protocol establishes how proof of work secures its transaction history. It does not establish any claimed urban, land-price, energy-market or public-policy outcome.

Minimum evidence: Filed program, delivered use, operating performance and affected-population evidence.
What portion of demand or value appears to reflect savings, scarcity or speculative demand rather than current use and income?
Minimum evidence: Comparable sales or rents, income support, vacancy, carrying cost, financing and longitudinal demand evidence.
Which legal, policing, insurance, military, climate-protection or infrastructure costs preserve the asset's value, and who pays them?
Minimum evidence: Adopted public cost, insurance, security, hazard, legal and infrastructure records with an attributable dependency.
Could a proof-of-work load improve the economics, flexibility or resilience of a specific energy system?

What noise, heat, water, emissions, land, equipment and opportunity costs would the proposed system impose locally?
